Hans and Ulrike Zimmermann came from Germany some 25 years ago and fell in love with the Fleurieu Peninsula. Than when you blend an architect with an artist, add some premium Shiraz and a gorgeous private vineyard valley, the result is something truly special - THE BLUE GRAPE VINEYARD ACCOMMODATION.
What began as a studio for Ulrike's beautiful handcrafted ceramic tiles has evolved into a Cellar Door and Boutique Accommodation, designed and hand built by the hosts themselves. The style is just superb, fresh bright interiors feature Ulrike's art works. Hand laid parquetry floors, a unique wood fire designed by Hans and dreamy bed canopies evidence this couple's creative energies and each of the three studios has a private timber deck with vineyard views. The hosts live across the water pond, so the Bed and Breakfast is totally for guests to enjoy. The heart of the place is the guest lounge with its inspiring views over the valley to the ocean.
Guests enjoy wine tasting and gourmet breakfast as well as hilltop picnics whilst watching the sun set over the vineyard. And for a special experience, indulge in a three course dinner matched with Zimmermann's Shiraz
